Dr Marnie Mellencamp

US animal feed premix specialist Ralco Nutrition, headquartered in Minnesota, has appointed Dr Marnie Mellencamp director of immunology. Dr Mellencamp is one of the first immunologists to be hired by an animal nutrition business. She will be involved in the research and development of products to improve the welfare and productivity of livestock.

Dr Mellencamp has a BS in microbiology from Ohio State University and a Master of Science degree in microbiology from Miami University, where she also gained her PhD. She then took a post-doctoral fellowship focusing on infectious diseases and immunology at Creighton University.
