Schering-Plough's current senior vice-president and president of Animal Health, Raul Kohan, will take on a new role as senior vice-president of corporate excellence. He will also serve as deputy head of Animal Health and work with Dr Stolp during the integration.
Schering-Plough told Animal Pharm that it had not yet been decided if the newly combined company would be renamed.
Schering Plough expects to complete its acquisition of Organon Biosciences, which owns Intervet, before the end of this year.
