Outbreak of avian flu confirmed in North Wales

An outbreak of the low pathogenicity H7N2 strain of avian influenza has been confirmed on a farm near Corwen in North Wales. The incident occurred in a small flock containing around 45 Rhode Island red and hybrid chickens in which 11 birds died over a two-week period....
