Datamars, a Swiss company that provides radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology for the companion animal and textile sectors, has appointed Kenneth M Boyle as chief marketing officer.

Mr Boyle will be responsible for global marketing and sales. He joined Datamars in April 2007 as president of North America.
