Key R&D appointment

Merial has appointed Dr Ellen de Brabander as global head of Merial research and development (R&D). She becomes a member of Merial's executive leadership team, reporting to executive chairman José Barella.

The move follows the retirement of Dr Kevin Shultz after ten years as head of Merial R&D. Dr Shultz will continue to be associated with the company in a consultancy role, working on special projects and external collaborations....
