Ms McCormick joins the board of directors

Louise McCormick has joined Heska's board of directors. Ms McCormick is currently serving as chair of the investment committee of Foresters, a Canadian financial firm based in Toronto. Before that, she had spent 25 years at Aetna, a healthcare benefits company.

"I am impressed with Heska's commitment to animal health and recent operating performance," she said. "I am excited by the prospects for the products the company has recently launched."

Heska chairman and chief executive Dr Robert Grieve added: "We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence in corporate governance, and a board consisting of high quality, independent directors is critical to this effort.
