Report now available online

A detailed report from the 2007 Global Animal Health Conference, held in London in November, is now available. The event was jointly sponsored by the International Federation for Animal Health (IFAH) and the European Medicines Agency (EMEA), and organised by the Drug Information Association (DIA).

The conference brought high level animal health industry leaders, opinion formers, policymakers, regulators, academics researchers and representative organisations together for two days to discuss the availability and development of animal medicines across the world.

Topics covered included the need to streamline animal health regulation, creating a positive environment for innovation in veterinary medicine, limiting antimicrobial s resistance, tackling existing and emerging animal diseases and making veterinary medicines more available in less developed countries.

The 32 page report, detailing the presentations and conference conclusions, is available on the IFAH website.
