Pritchard joins SAC

The Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) has appointed Ian Pritchard to manage its health schemes for cattle, sheep and goats.

The role involves the management and promotion of the schemes throughout the UK. He will work with SAC's vets to control, eradicate or accredit specific diseases in flocks and herds.

Mr Pritchard worked for the UK's Meat & Livestock Commission for over 30 years, where he was involved in the implementation and promotion of modern cattle breeding techniques in the UK.
