Dr Ratain joins Aspen Biopharma

Dr Mark Ratain is a new independent member of the board of directors of Aspen BioPharma.

The company is dedicated to the development of novel drugs and diagnostics for animals and humans.

Dr Ratain, the seventh director to be appointed, is a hematologist/oncologist and clinical pharmacologist.

Aspen BioPharma's chairman Greg Pusey comments: "Dr Ratain joins us at an exciting period in the development of AspenBio's appendicitis test and single-chain animal products. We look forward to benefiting from his extensive experience as we work to bring these products to market."
