The Animal Pharm Awards 2007, taking place on September 25th, will celebrate the very best of innovations by individuals and organizations in the animal health industry. To be held at Gibson Hall, London, the event will formally acknowledge the scientific and commercial efforts in the industry across 12 categories. This year’s categories include Animal Health Company of the Year, Veterinary Product (for livestock and companion animals), Achievement and Contribution by a Small Business, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Three new categories have been introduced this year: the BVA Veterinary Laboratory of the Year, Contribution by an Academic or Scientific Institution and Leader of the Year. At last year’s Animal Pharm Industry Excellence Awards, 11 awards were presented. Despite Pfizer being named Animal Health Company of the Year, it was Merial that dominated the evening by winning three awards, New Veterinary Product – Livestock, Best New Veterinary Product – Equine, and Drug Delivery Advance. The gala evening was hosted by Trude Mostue of Vets in Practice fame. To remind you of that auspicious event, we present 12 video clips of the winners of the 2006 awards and an opening speech from the Animal Pharm publisher Helena Jensen. | ||||||||||||||||||||
