Phase One of the Online Animal Pharm Company Files Database will be launched holding short profiles and data on 150 veterinary pharmaceutical/biologics/diagnostics companies and 30 veterinary equipment companies.
Via our website, Animal Pharm News subscribers will be able to access this database for a £100 add on to their base subscription fee (opting out will be possible). Non-subscribers will pay an annual fee of £500.
Phase 1.1
Each company file will include:
• Short editorial profile, including key events over the past year.
Plus:
• Logo
• Year the company was established
• Year the current name was first used
• Mergers and acquisitions within past decade
• Current joint ventures
• Total number of staff
• Ownership
• Main therapeutic/prophylactic/diagnostic areas
• Main species
• Financial data (to the extent that this is available)
• Financial reporting period and end date
• Annual revenue from animal health for past financial year
• Annual R&D spend for past financial year
• Gross profit from animal health for past financial year
• North American revenue for past financial year
• European revenue for part financial year
• Rest of world revenue for past financial year
• HQ address
• Principal products (up to 15)
• CEO
• CEO’s prior position
• CFO
• CFO’s prior position
• COO
• COO’s prior position
Phase 1.2 will expand the number of companies covered to 200 veterinary pharmaceutical/biologics/diagnostics companies and 50 veterinary equipment companies
Phase 2
Phase 2.1 of the project will add considerably more detailed information including several years of historical financial data, trend charting and licensing agreements, full list of products, distribution agreements, key personnel biographies, board members and all location addresses. It will also hold PDFs of annual reports where these are available.

Access to the expanded data set will require a separate subscription. Subscriber access to the short data set will continue on the same terms as before.
Phase 2.2 should increase the number of companies covered to 250 veterinary pharmaceutical/biologics/diagnostics companies and 100 veterinary equipment companies.
