The Quigley Corporation, a US-based manufacturer of naturally-derived medical products, is to start clinical trials with compound QR-441 (a).

The compound, developed by subsidiary Quigley Pharma, is for treating chickens that have been exposed to the highly pathogenic H5N1 strain of avian influenza (AIV)....

A major milestone: Wisdom Panel MX

Mars Veterinary is introducing the Wisdom Panel MX comprehensive DNA-based mixed breed test for dogs, which it claims can identify more than 100 breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club.

The US-based company said that the product is in the final stages of testing and is planning to launch it in the US this summer and in the UK later this year....
